the specific needs of precious people we serve are ever-evolving. They range from the most basic of needs; food, clothing, school supplies and medical care to corporate needs like sustainable employment opportunities, transportation for children, after-school programs, support for widows and orphans and so much more.
we work with the locals on the ground in Bethlehem that we have had long-standing relationships with both on the individual and corporate level to identify the most urgent needs in the community.
a look to the future
in tandem with continuing to meet the more basic but urgent needs like food and clothing, the Christmas in Bethlehem team has a longer term vision to create sustainable employment opportunities that do not rely on tourism. This model will help to create financial stability that many residents of Bethlehem have never experienced. what a gift for someone to not have to worry month to month, week to week or even day to day how they are going to provide for their family. Or for a widow to be financially independent in a region where such a thing is rare.

GIVING OPPORTUNITES FOR CHILDREN
Christmas in Bethlehem has special programs for children to get involved corporately as part of a classroom, Sunday school, home school group and more. we can provide teaching aids that will bring the Christmas story to life and will illustrate the biblical significance of this historical city while touching on the precious people who live there today. we want to make giving personal (and a little fun) for children. please contact our Christmas in Bethlehem children's ministry leader kellie brantley for more information.
